The Truth Shall Set You Free
* - Your financial giving to any ministry does not save you. But a HEART change for JESUS Christ DOES. And then and only then your giving will be a part of your WORSHIP as GOD directs you to be a cheerful vessel that supports efforts which are part of His will and His way whether it be your time, your material resources and so on. God will prompt you because He is in you.
* - The church is NOT the building. The building HOUSES the church. You are a temple... but what dwells in your temple is up to you. For those who have accepted Jesus Christ and are obedient to his way... it is the Spirit of the living God that is dwelling in you... the temple... if your heart was truly ready to receive him. Your body is an individual temple. The building is a place where the Temples assemble... not forsaking the importance of assembling of believers as we encourage one another and pray... developing a strategy to go out constantly into the world to make disciples of Jesus Christ by spreading the good news. This is an inward-outward flow. Not an outward-inward flow. In other words... we being the Temples that house the Holy Spirit will meet people where they are which is not in the building where we assemble. We meet them in the world, but we are no longer enticed by those things that are in the world. The work of the church is outside the building where believers gather for prayer and encouragement. The building, where two or more are gathered in His name, is also a spiritual hospital for the sick. In order for people to know it is a place they can receive treatment, we must go into the world to show them how we were healed. And the Father will draw them too Jesus. We minister to them where they are. It is not a recruitment tool to draw them to the building. God will do the drawing... but we must be willing vessels to display that light.
*-There is always a center of operations for the work of the great commission. The center of operation which is any building that is being used for the inward outward flow of this work... will be a vessel that trains and gives people the support to walk in the will of the father. This is why it is important that we train people to go forth and provide the support for them to recreate a base of operations in the land they are going forth in to. You ARE THE CHURCH... not the building. When the building is vacant... the building is not the church. When individual Temples that house His Holy Spirit assembles in any building (two or more in His name)... the Father is with them for it is written.
*- The building which houses the church is not supposed to be a social club... a networking opportunity. The building which houses the church is supposed to be a place to pray, to sharpen one another, to be poured back into. When we go out into the world to pour into others... we will need to be poured into at some point. That's why it is important that we not forsaken coming together in any building for the purpose of prayer, encouragement...which brings about spiritual maturity. If we have chosen a building as the place we will come together... we must understand what the building is and what it is for.
*- Do we care more about the building than our own temple's? In other words, do you give more reverence to a physical structure than you do yourself where the word clearly says we are temples? Every human body is a temple, but not every human body has the Holy Spirit dwelling in it at this moment. But that which dwells in the Temple which is not of God still must bow to that which has the Spirit of God in him/her. So people will give respect to the building and those who are truly connected to God. They will get as far away from you as they can... while attempting to put on the appearance that they are walking with you on the same path. You see the path they are walking on. But they do not understand the path you are walking on. They have covered up, but you are transparent...uncovered before the throne... therefore you are not ashamed before men. They on the other hand think they are hiding something from the throne and more concerned about what people think about them... so they will mask as well in front of men... bu they do not realize they are uncovered before God. People who mask care more about the building then they do their own temple... and that is a dangerous place to be.
*- Always remember this... if you allow God to truly lead you... He will never take you to a place to help you grow that is void of His Spirit. In other words... that place which He has left is infected. You must be sensitive to His voice and He will send you where you can grow. You will have His eyes to see the hearts of man. You will be able to adequately assess what is in the atmosphere wherever you are going to assemble with other believers. The place where He is won't be a place that other men build up for vain glory. It is likely the place where people ignore because it does not have the bright lights... the glits and glamour of what the world identifies as the places that are successful. God does great things through people and efforts the world does not validate. Remember that. If the world is validating it... be careful.
