(Focus on Family - The Flock - Part 1)
When we have a family we must be able to identify who are shepherds, who are sheep, who are shepherd dogs, who are goats, who are wolves and who are hirelings.
The true family is on one accord and that would be called a fold. We must determine who is part of the fold and then determine what is preventing them from getting on one accord. Not everyone has the same mindset or the passion for what you seek, but identifying the characteristics of the shepherd, sheep, shepherd dog, goat, wolf and hireling... we can understand from a Biblical standpoint what we are truly dealing with in our familes and use the knowledge of God to deal with what is right before us.
We each have to take the time to identify it. But we won't see it until we examine ourselves with the light of God shining on us to see who we really are when no one is watching. When we see ourselves the way God sees us, then we can see others the way He sees them. And it will blow your mind, but you can handle it because you now see the way God sees.
Follow me today as I share with you more on the flock. You are reading part 1. More will follow in Part 2, Part 3 and so on.
